This beautiful hand carved Om with flowers piece of wall art is the perfect addition to any room. It’s ideal for a bedroom, living room, kitchen, hallway, office or kids room. In the Hindu tradition, the sound of Om is said to contain the entire universe. It is the first sound from the beginning of time, and encompasses the present and the future. It’s also a seed syllable used as a building block for other mantras. In the chakra system, it is connected to the third eye which represents intuition and self-knowledge. This carving is made in the local village of Pejeng, Bali and is close to where we stay. It was carved by a family who has passed down this art form for several generations. We will give some of the proceeds of our sales to the local village to help people in need at this time. It is also our intention to help keep some of the local artisans employed.
